This transmission fluid is not compatible with all transmissions. Fluid type requirements vary by vehicle make, model, year, and transmission design. The 4L60 and 4L60E transmissions are among the most widely used automatic transmissions in GM trucks, SUVs, and performance vehicles. Found in popular platforms like the Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra, Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, Blazer, Camaro, and Corvette, these transmissions are known for their versatility, smooth shifting, and ability to handle a wide range of applications—from daily driving to towing and performance builds.
However, over time, factory 4L60E transmissions commonly experience issues such as slipping gears, worn clutch packs, sun shell failure, valve body wear, torque converter failure, and overheating. That’s where Fraser Engines & Transmissions sets the standard.
At Fraser Engines, every remanufactured 4L60E transmission is completely disassembled, cleaned, inspected, and precision-machined before being rebuilt with new and upgraded internal components. We don’t just rebuild transmissions—we correct known failure points using updated components, recalibrated valve bodies, improved clutch materials, and upgraded hard parts designed to outperform OEM specifications.
Each unit is rigorously tested under real-world driving conditions to ensure proper shifting, line pressure, and performance before it ever leaves our facility. Many of our builds include torque converters, upgraded clutch packs, reinforced sun shells, and valve body modifications—giving you a transmission that’s not just rebuilt, but better than new.
When you choose a 4L60E transmission from Fraser Engines, you’re getting a zero-mile remanufactured unit backed by industry-leading warranty coverage, expert support, and a company that has been delivering drivetrain solutions since 1961.
Whether you need a stock replacement 4L60E transmission or a performance-built upgrade, Fraser Engines offers multiple build levels to match your vehicle, driving style, and power demands—ensuring the right fit the first time.
Every Fraser Engines remanufactured 4L60E transmission is backed by an industry-leading nationwide warranty, designed to provide long-term protection and peace of mind.
Major factory applications. Years/fitment vary by engine, GVWR, and trim—always verify by VIN before ordering.
