This remanufactured Ford 5.8L (351 Windsor) engine includes the following enhancements from Fraser Engines:

  • Bore and hone all cylinders to OEM clearances (We check all clearances within .0001 of inch),
  • Decking cylinder head(s) and block for straightness,
  • Cutting valve seats and valves to proper degree,
  • Line boring/honing crankshaft/camshaft tunnels,
  • Ground & polish crankshaft, new or remanufactured camshaft(s),
  • New main bearings, rod bearings, pistons, piston rings, lifters, pushrods (if equipped), timing components, oil pump, head bolts,
  • All new internal gaskets and seals.
  • All finishing gaskets are included (MAY VARY PER APPLICATION).


Ford 5.8L (351 Windsor) Engines

The Ford 5.8L (351 Windsor) is a V8 engine designed by Ford Motor Company for use in their vehicles.

The base engine consists of:

An iron engine block and cylinder heads
Pushrod-actuated valves with hydraulic lifters
Throttle Body Injection (TBI)
Electronic Ignition

The engine specifications include:

  • 4 in x 3.5 in (101.6 mm x 88.9 mm) cylinder bore and piston stroke
  • 8.8:1, 9.2:1, or 9.5:1 compression ratio
  • 210 to 320 horsepower (157 to 239 kW) at 3,800 to 5,400 rpm
  • 315 to 410 lb-ft (427 to 556 Nm) of torque at 2,800 to 3,800 rpm
