ABOUT THIS ENGINE
The Chrysler 2.7L engine is a V6 DOHC 24-valve engine that was used in some applications including the Chrysler Sebring and 300, and Dodge Stratus, Magnum, Charger, and Avenger.
The 2.7 liter engine is a 6 cylinder engine that produces 200 horsepower at 5,800 rpm, with a bore and stroke of 86 mm × 78.5 mm (3.39 in × 3.09 in). The engine had been known for oil sludge problems, caused by issues with the crankcase ventilation system, but with Fraser’s precise remanufacturing process, these concerns have been alleviated.
