Core Waiver Program

Reduce your upfront purchase cost by paying a $99.99 non-refundable Core Waiver Processing Fee instead of paying the applicable full core deposit upfront.

Important: The waiver only changes what you pay upfront. It does not eliminate the requirement to return your qualifying original engine, transmission, cylinder head, or other applicable core.

What the Core Waiver Does — and Does Not Do

The Core Waiver Program is designed to reduce the amount you pay at the time of purchase. It does not eliminate the customer's obligation to return a qualifying rebuildable core.

✓ What You ARE Getting

  • You avoid paying the applicable full core deposit upfront.
  • You pay a $99.99 non-refundable Core Waiver Processing Fee.
  • You receive a temporary 30-day conditional period to arrange the required core return.
  • You reduce your initial out-of-pocket purchase amount.

✕ What You Are NOT Getting

  • You are NOT purchasing the original core for $99.99.
  • You are NOT released from the obligation to return the core.
  • You are NOT receiving permission to scrap, sell, discard, or retain the core.
  • The $99.99 fee is NOT a refundable core deposit.
  • A warranty claim does NOT automatically cancel the core-return requirement.
Simple Process

How the Core Waiver Program Works

1

Pay $99.99

Pay the non-refundable Core Waiver Processing Fee instead of paying the applicable full core deposit upfront.

2

Install Your Fraser Product

Preserve the original engine, transmission, cylinder head, or other qualifying core after removal. Do not dispose of it.

3

Return the Core

Your qualifying core return must be properly scheduled within 30 calendar days following confirmed delivery of your Fraser product.

30-DAY CORE RETURN DEADLINE

The waiver is temporary and conditional — not permanent.

Day 1

Delivery Confirmed

The conditional waiver period begins upon confirmed delivery of the applicable Fraser product.

Days 1–29

Preserve and Prepare Your Core

Complete installation, retain the original core, and make it available for compliant return.

Day 30

Return Deadline

Your core return must be properly scheduled. Failure to comply may constitute default under the agreement.

What Happens If the Core Is Not Returned?

YOU MAY BECOME RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FULL CORE VALUE.

The $99.99 Core Waiver Processing Fee does not place a $99.99 limit on your financial responsibility.

If the required qualifying rebuildable core is not returned according to the agreement, Fraser may invoice or charge the applicable full core value and other amounts permitted under the governing agreement.

Depending on the product, the actual value of the required core may be hundreds or thousands of dollars.

Your Core Obligation Is Important to Your Warranty

The customer remains responsible for returning the required qualifying rebuildable core. Failure to satisfy applicable core-return requirements may result in the applicable full core amount becoming due and may result in warranty coverage being voided or denied pursuant to the governing warranty and purchase terms.

Protect the Original Unit

Your Original Core Must Be Preserved

Do not throw away, scrap, sell, exchange, or otherwise dispose of a core that remains subject to Fraser's return requirement.

Keep the Original Core

After removal, retain the original qualifying engine, transmission, cylinder head, or other applicable component until the return is completed.

Use Proper Packaging

Where applicable, reuse the shipping container, pallet, crate, tote, or protective packaging supplied with the replacement product.

Prepare It for Freight

The core should be appropriately secured, drained where required, and prepared for transportation in accordance with applicable shipping instructions.

Communicate Promptly

Do not wait until the final day to arrange your return. Contact Fraser promptly if you require assistance with the core-return process.

Core Waiver Agreement

Fraser Engines & Transmissions — Terms governing the temporary conditional waiver of the upfront core deposit requirement.

Processing Fee $99.99 Non-Refundable
Core Deadline 30 Days From Delivery
Governing Venue Macomb County, Michigan
1

Products Covered

This Agreement applies to any engine, transmission, cylinder head, or other product sold by Fraser that carries a returnable core requirement.

Customer acknowledges that applicable products require return of a qualifying rebuildable core unless expressly modified in writing by Fraser.

2

Non-Refundable Core Waiver Processing Fee

Customer voluntarily requests a temporary waiver of the requirement to pay the applicable full core deposit upfront and agrees to pay a non-refundable Core Waiver Processing Fee of $99.99.

  • The fee is earned upon enrollment and processing.
  • The fee is separate from the value of the required core.
  • The fee does not constitute payment for the core.
  • The fee does not eliminate the customer's core-return obligation.
3

Strict 30-Day Conditional Core Waiver

Customer receives a thirty (30) calendar day conditional waiver period beginning upon confirmed delivery of the applicable product.

  • The required core return must be scheduled within 30 days.
  • The original core must remain available for return.
  • Customer should not sell, scrap, discard, or exchange the required core.
  • Failure to comply may constitute default under this Agreement.
4

Post-Deadline Cure and Extension

If the initial waiver period expires without compliance, Customer may become responsible for the applicable full core replacement value together with applicable freight, container, handling, or other contractual charges.

Any additional extension must be expressly authorized by Fraser. No extension should be assumed unless confirmed by Fraser.

5

Full Core Value Liability

Customer acknowledges that the $99.99 fee is not the value of the required core.

Failure to return an acceptable qualifying core may make Customer responsible for amounts including:

  • Full applicable core replacement value
  • Container or packaging charges
  • Freight or transportation expenses
  • Administrative or handling costs where permitted
  • Collection and enforcement costs where permitted by law
6

Identification Requirement

Customer may be required to provide valid government-issued identification as part of the Core Waiver enrollment and verification process.

Failure to satisfy required verification may make the Customer ineligible for the waiver.

7

Shipping, Installation and Third-Party Responsibility

Customer is responsible for appropriately preserving the original core and complying with applicable instructions concerning installation, storage, packaging, freight, and return preparation.

8

Core Obligation and Warranty

Core obligations remain separate from the processing of a warranty claim.

The existence of a warranty claim does not automatically suspend a core deadline unless Fraser expressly provides written authorization.

Failure to comply with applicable core-return requirements may affect warranty eligibility under the applicable warranty and purchase terms.

9

Payment Authorization

Amounts properly due under this Agreement may be invoiced or collected in accordance with the customer's authorization, applicable law, payment-network rules, and the terms of the underlying transaction.

10

Default and Collection

Upon default, Fraser may pursue available contractual and legal remedies, including invoicing, collection activity, or other lawful enforcement measures.

11

Governing Law and Venue

This Agreement is intended to be governed by applicable Michigan law. Any venue provision remains subject to applicable law and the final written Agreement accepted by the parties.

12

Dispute and Jury Trial Provisions

Any applicable waiver, dispute-resolution provision, or jury-trial provision shall be governed by the executed Agreement and applicable law.

13

Severability

If any provision is determined to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions are intended to remain effective to the extent permitted by law.

14

Entire Agreement

The completed and accepted Core Waiver Agreement, together with applicable purchase and warranty terms, constitutes the governing agreement concerning participation in the Core Waiver Program.

Common Questions

Core Waiver FAQ

Does the $99.99 fee mean I can keep my old engine or transmission?

No. The $99.99 fee only waives the requirement to pay the applicable full core deposit upfront. The qualifying rebuildable core must still be returned.

No. The $99.99 Core Waiver Processing Fee is non-refundable.

When does my 30-day period begin?
