The core refers to your old unit, which we need returned to remanufacture and produce more units. The core deposit is a temporary charge that is fully refunded once we retrieve your old unit. This process ensures the cycle of remanufacturing continues efficiently.

We provide our customers with a 15-day period to return the core without requiring the deposit upfront. To qualify for this option, the unit must be shipped to a repair facility and include a No-Fault warranty coverage plan.

Yes, you can install the product yourself. The only thing not covered on DIY (do it yourself) installations is the labor portion. All parts are covered that come with our units.

A No-Fault Warranty is an additional protection plan that covers your engine or transmission, regardless of the cause of failure. Unlike standard warranties, which may deny claims due to installation errors, overheating, or other non-manufacturer-related issues, the No-Fault Warranty provides peace of mind by ensuring coverage in these situations.

Key Benefits of a No-Fault Warranty:

  1. Comprehensive Coverage: Protects your investment even in cases of user error, overheating, or improper installation.
  2. One-Time Replacement: Includes a one-time free replacement of the product, making it a valuable safeguard.
  3. Added Assurance: Offers peace of mind knowing you’re protected against unforeseen circumstances that would void a standard warranty.

Is it worth the money?

The No-Fault Warranty is ideal for:

  • DIY Installers: If you’re installing the product yourself and want protection against potential installation errors.
  • Peace of Mind: If you prefer additional security for your investment beyond the standard warranty.
  • High-Risk Scenarios: If you’re using the product in conditions that may lead to premature wear or unexpected issues.

While it may involve an additional upfront cost, the No-Fault Warranty can save you significantly in the long run by eliminating out-of-pocket expenses for repairs or replacements that wouldn’t typically be covered. It’s an excellent option for anyone seeking maximum protection and peace of mind.

At Fraser Engines, we offer two No-Fault Warranty options to provide peace of mind and protect your investment: the 3-Year No-Fault Warranty and the Fraser Elite Pro No-Fault Warranty. Both plans offer robust coverage, including a one-time replacement, but the Elite Pro plan provides extended duration and additional benefits.

  • The Fraser Advantage Option is perfect for those seeking the highest level of performance, durability, and long-term investment protection.
Fraser Engines specializes in remanufactured units built to the highest standards. Additionally, we offer a selection of certified rebuilt and used engines to meet a variety of needs and budgets.

The terms “remanufactured” and “rebuilt” are often used interchangeably, but they refer to distinct processes with key differences in quality, precision, and reliability.

Remanufactured Engines

  • Definition: A remanufactured engine is completely disassembled and restored to like-new condition. This process involves machining or replacing every worn or damaged part to meet or exceed original factory specifications (OEM standards).
  • Process:
    • Every component is inspected, cleaned, and tested for quality and reliability.
    • Critical components are machined or replaced with new parts to ensure precision.
    • The entire unit is reassembled under stringent quality control to ensure optimal performance.
  • Warranty: Typically comes with a longer warranty due to the thorough restoration process and quality assurance.
  • Best For: Customers seeking maximum reliability, performance, and longevity, comparable to a brand-new engine.

Rebuilt Engines

  • Definition: A rebuilt engine involves repairing or replacing only the worn or damaged components as needed, without fully disassembling and machining the entire engine.
  • Process:
    • Key components are inspected, and only failed parts are replaced or repaired.
    • Non-critical parts that still function may remain untouched, depending on their condition.
    • The engine is then reassembled, typically with fewer steps than remanufacturing.
  • Warranty: Comes with a shorter warranty compared to remanufactured units, as the restoration process is less comprehensive.
  • Best For: Customers seeking a more budget-friendly option for less critical applications.
