The Scorpion is a formidable 6.7-liter turbodiesel V8 developed by Ford Motor for heavy-duty pickup trucks and commercial-grade vehicles. Employing an overhead valve design (OHV) in a V configuration, the architecture of the Ford 6.7L Power Stroke Scorpion has been a integral part of the Ford Power Stroke engine family since 2010.
Initially introduced in the 2011 Ford Super Duty model, it represented a pivotal moment as Ford ventured into creating its own turbodiesel applications, departing from a longstanding tradition of engine collaboration with Navistar. The original design featured a distinctive single sequential turbocharger (SST) with a dual compressor and single turbine setup. In 2015, a significant enhancement was made with the adoption of a single Garrett GT37 variable geometry turbocharger, resulting in a substantial increase in both horsepower and torque.
Fast forward to the 2020 model year, the Scorpion underwent further refinements, particularly in programming and boost, culminating in the achievement of the highest torque output in its class at an impressive 1,050 lb-ft. The Ford 6.7L Power Stroke Scorpion engine serves as the powerhouse for a range of vehicles, including the Ford Super Duty and Ford F-650/F-750.
Fraser Engines specializes in remanufactured diesel engines tailored for truck, off-road, and industrial applications. Our comprehensive packages include the cylinder block, rotating assembly, cylinder head, valve train, and installation gasket set (oil pump not included).
Diverging from the use of welded crankshafts or cylinder blocks and the absence of cylinder sleeves for cracked cylinders, our commitment to quality is reflected in our meticulous blueprinting process for all long blocks. Fraser Engines implements numerous updates to ensure optimal performance.
Setting us apart, damaged crankshafts, cylinder blocks, and cylinder heads are replaced with new components rather than undergoing repairs. Every diesel engine undergoes remanufacturing with materials sourced from the same suppliers as the OEM, and precision machining on CNC equipment guarantees adherence to or surpassing OEM specifications. At Fraser Engines, we prioritize excellence in every aspect of our remanufactured diesel engines.

Use conventional or break-in oil (non-synthetic) for the first 600 miles of operation. Do not drive for long periods at any single speed, always vary your speed. Do not tow a trailer or put other heavy loads on the vehicle. Check the engine oil and coolant levels daily.
At 600 Miles change the engine oil and filter using conventional (non-synthetic) oil. Check fuel and ignition settings; adjust valves (where applicable).
After the first 5,000 of service synthetic engine oil may be used. Follow your vehicle owner’s manual for service intervals.
