Fraser Engines & Transmissions · Warranty Center
Congratulations on your new Fraser remanufactured engine or transmission. Your warranty must be registered to be active — register within 30 days of installation to lock in your 3-Year or 5-Year / Unlimited-Mile parts & labor coverage and any No-Fault protection you purchased. Registration is free and takes a few minutes.
Why registration matters
Fraser’s written warranty requires registration. Unregistered engines and transmissions are not covered — and it’s the single most common reason a claim can’t be processed.
Your 3- or 5-Year / Unlimited-Mile parts & labor warranty — and any No-Fault upgrade — starts the day of installation once registered.
Installation date and mileage on file establish when coverage begins and prevent disputes later.
Serial number, VIN and installer are already on file, so the Warranty Department can authorize a claim without chasing paperwork.
A registered unit is documented for resale and for any No-Fault replacement.
Before you start
Tip: take a clear photo of the serial-number tag and your installation invoice before the engine goes in — you’ll want both if you ever need to file a claim.
Where to find it
Every Fraser unit carries a serial number on a metal tag, sticker or stamped pad. Enter it exactly as shown, including letters and dashes. Typical locations are pictured below.

Metal tag or sticker on the block — commonly on the rear of the block near the bellhousing, the front timing cover, or the side of the block above the oil pan rail.

Some units are stamped on a machined pad or carry a serial sticker on the valve cover or intake — check both sides of the engine.

Engines built by Fraser’s manufacturing partners carry the partner’s tag — enter the number printed on it along with your Fraser invoice number.
Transmissions: the serial tag is usually on the side of the case or on the bellhousing; transfer cases and differentials carry a tag on the housing. Still can’t find it? Call 800-731-3177 and the Warranty Department will locate it from your order.
What you’re registering
Parts & labor nationwide warranty
Parts & labor nationwide PLUS 1 year of FREE No-Fault coverage
1–5 year No-Fault protection ($99–$499) purchased with your engine is registered at the same time — it covers failures a standard warranty excludes, including overheating and lubrication issues.
Covered labor is paid at Mitchell or ALLDATA book time when the unit is installed by a licensed repair facility. DIY installations are covered for parts.
Unregistered units, unauthorized teardown or repair, overheating, contamination, improper installation, or failure to correct the original cause of failure. Follow the crate tag and break-in instructions.

What happens next
If something goes wrong
Stop driving the vehicle and contact Fraser before any teardown or repair — unauthorized work can void coverage.
Submit a claim through the Warranty Center or call 800-731-3177 with your registration and symptoms.
Installation invoice, maintenance records, mileage, diagnostic codes and photos as requested.
A Fraser engine specialist reviews the claim and authorizes inspection, repair or replacement. Standard-warranty units may require plant inspection; No-Fault claims get a hassle-free replacement.
Covered parts are supplied and labor is reimbursed at Mitchell / ALLDATA book time to your licensed installer.
